MagSafe Case

A MagSafe case is a phone case with a ring of magnets built into the back. That ring does two jobs: it locks onto the magnetic charger so your iPhone charges wirelessly at full speed, and it holds magnetic accessories — wallets, grips, mounts and chargers — firmly in place. Without the ring, a case blocks the magnet and MagSafe simply stops working. Every case in this collection has the ring built in, so you get full MagSafe performance without giving up a cute design.

People often ask what actually changes when a case is MagSafe compatible. In practice: wireless charging snaps into place instead of sliding around, magnetic wallets don't fall off in your bag, and accessories can be swapped without removing the case. FAQs About MagSafe Cases

What does "MagSafe compatible" mean on a phone case?

It means the case has a built-in magnetic ring aligned with your iPhone's magnets, so magnetic chargers and accessories attach properly. Cases without the ring block the magnet.

Do I need a MagSafe case to charge wirelessly?

No — any thin case allows standard wireless charging. You need a MagSafe case for the magnet to lock on, which is what keeps the phone from sliding off the charger.

Will a MagSafe case work with my iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Yes. Every MagSafe case here is made for one exact model, including iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Just select your model on the product page.

Are magnetic phone cases safe for my iPhone?

Yes. MagSafe is Apple's own magnetic system, and a properly built case with the ring aligned to spec doesn't affect your phone, your camera or your battery.
